
Fernando advises private clients and international families on Spanish tax matters and represents them in contentious proceedings before the Spanish Tax Administration and the economic-administrative tribunals.
His practice covers tax residence, the special regime for inbound workers, global mobility, the design and implementation of domestic and cross-border structures, and the preparation of tax opinions and reports.
He also advises on the tax aspects of corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate acquisitions and disposals.
Before joining Lullius, Fernando practised in the corporate and tax departments of Pérez-Llorca. His work included due diligence and transactional support in mergers and acquisitions, the review of accounting and tax documentation, and the preparation of submissions and appeals in economic-administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings.
He has also advised an international insurance group on regulatory matters, multi-jurisdictional corporate reorganisations and data protection.
Fernando holds a law degree with a Diploma in Economic Law from the University of Navarra. He also holds a Master’s in Legal Practice and Advocacy, specialising in Tax Advisory, and a Master’s in Tax Advisory, both from the same university.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association — ICAM, and speaks Spanish and English.
